GHOSTS OF CASCO BAY
A haunting new series by author Cary Vajda

TWO SISTERS. ONE DEADLY RIVALRY. AN ANGEL'S LAST CHANCE TO SAVE THEIR SOULS.
Saving Martha & Molly: Ghosts of Casco Bay Book One
When the angel Hannah is sent on a divine mission, her task seems simple: save the souls of Martha and Molly McLellan, identical twins born into privilege in 1854. Beautiful, wealthy, and selfish beyond measure, the twins have never known true kindness or consequences. But when greed drives them to murder each other, Hannah arrives too late to save their lives. Now, she must save what’s left of them: their souls.
To guide the sisters toward redemption, Hannah places their spirits into the lives of people suffering deep personal loss. Each new existence offers Martha and Molly a chance to learn the virtues they ignored in life—: compassion, humility, grace, and forgiveness. Yet their mischievous, prideful natures refuse to change easily.
Spanning six generations of the McCabe family, this heartfelt and humorous spiritual odyssey explores how love and faith can heal even the most broken souls.

THE LEGACY
When the family tree becomes gnarled and black, one thing is certain—you can always follow the money. Dive into the family history below.

In the meantime, God has given the angel Hannah a mission: save the souls of Martha and Molly. She is also told to follow the money, the McLellan fortune. As she pushes the malevolent twins to change their ways, to move from selfishness to selflessness, their afterlife journey will take a multi-generational path.

THE GHOST IN THE
TOWER ROOM
Book 2

There, she discovers the ghost of Captain Samuel Clarke haunting the tower room. As Nanna Kate’s health declines, Scarlett inherits both the mansion and a nautical gift shop—and takes on the task of helping the captain find peace. Meanwhile, she unexpectedly falls for a charming seafaring man.

THE UNHOLY GHOST

While honeymooning in the Marquesas Islands, Scarlett and Nate uncover a buried treasure box—followed home by the ghost who hid it: Jimmy Cox, a mischievous pooka who shifts between old sailor and scruffy dog. As Jimmy settles in, he draws other local spirits into a swirl of ghostly adventures. In time, the treasure—and Jimmy—return to the island, where he trades gold for peace in the afterlife.

HERE FOR A SPELL
Book 4
Hazel Murphy is a dead witch with one spell left. Once it’s cast, her spirit will pass into the next Hazel—a newborn girl. As her final spell fades, Hazel searches through time for the Hazels who came before her, leading her back to the Salem Witch Trials and the first Hazel’s execution. Along the way, she uncovers the deeper purpose of her journey—and her legacy.

THE MAN BEHIND THE HAUNTINGS
Author Cary Vajda
Cary Vajda worked for forty years in the field of higher education where his focus was nonfiction. Reports, evaluations, regulations—his work was important, but was a poor outlet for his creative side. With encouragement from his daughter, a fiction writer, he has immersed himself in the world of fantasy—and found his passion. Residing in Midland, Michigan, with his wife, Sally, the two enjoy the bounty of nature from their home on the high banks of the Chippewa River. In addition to repurposing antique furniture, Cary now writes in his free time. Saving Martha & Molly is his first published novel. Three others are waiting in the wings, all part of a series named Ghosts of Casco Bay.
